Sketching

Important ideas to think about when sketching out your art. Keep it loose, I draw in a ballpoint pen , I then retrace my own drawing on tracing paper changing It, and refining It.
Try to keep away from the eraser, It has a tendency of removing the spontaneity of the original sketch. Use reference materials so you can draw it right.

Caricature Art

So you're an artist and you'd like to start creating the funniest drawings ever made. Where do you start to learn a master the ideas of a cartoonist.
I think a great way is to learn about some of the great artists out there, observe there styles. See how they approach a story line.
I've been drawing cartoons since I was a little kid, I was fasinated by the art in A magazine called MAD. Mad had it all, great spoofs of movies, products, creative innovations (I remember they were the first ones to say we should advertise on a postage stamp)
Being a great fan of Caricature I loved the work of artist Mort Drucker.
